Heliodor is a yellow or golden yellow form of beryl and is occasionally found in gem quality.

Locations:

The best quality heliodor is found in Russia. It also comes from Brazil but is found in pale shades from there. Heliodor from Madagascar has a finer color. Other locations include Ukraine, Namibia and USA.
